My AI transcription app mangled an interview in Portland last week

I interviewed a city council candidate for a local newsletter and ran the recording through a popular AI transcription tool, but it turned every mention of 'zoning' into 'zombie' and 'infrastructure' into 'infra-structure.' I spent 2 hours correcting errors that would have taken 30 minutes to type manually. Has anyone else hit a ceiling with AI transcription accuracy on technical or political topics, or is there a better setup that actually handles jargon?
