My model crashed during a demo for a client in Denver

Honestly, I was showing off a new image generator I'd trained when it just froze on a weird, glitched output. We were in their conference room and the screen went totally blank for like 30 seconds. I had to quickly reboot the local server and switch to a backup, simpler version I had on my laptop. Has anyone else had a live demo go sideways and found a good quick fix that doesn't look panicked?

What did you end up telling them about the crash? I used to always try and blame the tech, like a bad cable or something. Watching a guy just say "well, that's awkward" and calmly restart things changed my whole view. It made him look in control because he wasn't hiding behind a fake excuse. Now I just own the hiccup and keep moving.

Oh man, that's the worst. My go-to move is blaming the hotel wifi, even if nothing is wireless. Makes it sound like a known issue, not my fault.

Known issue" sounds like a stretch for a made-up wifi problem.
