Picked an open-source AI model over a paid one for my small business analytics last month

I went with Llama 3 instead of ChatGPT Enterprise because it was free to run locally, and after tweaking it for three days I got better results on my customer data than I ever expected, has anyone else made that switch and seen similar gains?

Heard a tech podcaster say open source models are getting scarily good lately, especially once you fine-tune them a bit. Three days of tweaking sounds like a pain but I bet the results feel way more personal than the paid stuff.

Wait THREE days of tweaking? That's insane @karenlane, I barely have the patience to wait for my coffee to brew in the morning but I guess if it feels more personal than paying for it those nerds might be onto something.
