Saw a demo at the Newark library where a robot arm sorted donated books by reading the covers
I was dropping off a bag of paperbacks last Tuesday and a small camera setup on a cart was grouping them into bins by genre, all by looking at the front cover. The volunteer said it messes up kids books with busy art about 1 in 10 times. Is that a normal miss rate for vision stuff, or did they just need better lighting?
