TIL the guy reviewing my prompt at a hack night in Denver said 'you're over-explaining' and my output got way better
I brought a resume-sorting prompt to a small AI meetup in Denver last week and a guy there kept cutting clauses out of it until it was half the length. Turns out all my 'please make sure to' and 'it's important that you' lines were just noise, and the shorter version gave cleaner results on 20 test resumes. Anyone else find out less explaining beats more when you're writing prompts?
