Trained a local LLM on my past 5 years of meeting notes and it actually summarized my career better than I could
After 3 tries tweaking the prompt it pulled out a pattern of me pivoting from backend to DevOps that I had missed entirely, has anyone else had a model surface something about their own work they overlooked?

That part about "pivoting from backend to DevOps" really hit home for me. I did something similar with my old code review comments from the last few years and it found a pattern of me gradually getting less involved in frontend work and more into infrastructure stuff. I totally missed it happening until the model showed me the data. It's wild how these things can spot trends we just don't see because we're living them day to day. I showed a coworker and he got super into it too, now he's feeding his old Jira tickets into one to see what it says about his project management style.

Used to be super skeptical about this kind of stuff honestly. Thought it was just a gimmick, like feeding your diary into a chatbot for fun. But then a buddy of mine did the same thing with his old project logs and it pointed out he kept jumping into code reviews way too early before specs were even locked down. That was a real wake up call for me. It's humbling to admit a machine can see patterns you've been blind to for years. Definitely changed my mind about what these models are actually good for.
