Trained an AI model on my old band's lyrics and it actually wrote a decent song

Ngl I was just messing around last weekend with some free AI tool online. I fed it about 50 sets of lyrics from my high school punk band from 2012. Told it to write something in that style and the output was kind of scary good. It kept the two chord structure we always used and even threw in a line about cheap pizza we used to joke about. Has anyone else tried training a model on their own creative stuff and gotten something usable?

Noticed how AI is basically picking up all the creative shortcuts we humans rely on.

Oh man, this is so true and it kind of hits me right in the gut lol. I've been noticing that too and it makes me feel for all the artists and writers out there who put so much heart into their work. Like we all have these little tricks we use to make things work faster or better, and now the machines are just picking them up without any of the struggle. It's honestly a little sad when you think about how much human experience goes into those shortcuts. But I guess it also shows how clever we are that our methods are worth copying in the first place.
