Appreciation post: that Reddit user who told me to watch Frieren subbed first
Some random commenter said the dub misses the tone of the quiet moments, and they were so right. I was about to watch it dubbed on my lunch breaks in Chicago but switched after 3 episodes, and the subtitles made Fern's pauses hit way harder. Has anyone else found a show that changed completely after switching formats?
