Compared crunchyroll and hidive for a month each and the difference was HUGE
I did a month of Crunchyroll and then a month of HiDive to see which one I liked better. Crunchyroll has all the big shows obviously but their player kept buffering on my Fire Stick and the subtitles were tiny. HiDive has a smaller library but holy cow the video quality was way smoother and they have these little extra features like cast commentary tracks. The real kicker was HiDive has the old 90s dubs for things like Urusei Yatsura that you can't find anywhere else. I ended up keeping Crunchyroll because my friends all watch the new seasonal stuff there but I am missing HiDive's classic catalog. Has anyone else done a side by side comparison and had a clear winner for what you watch?
