My entire anime watchlist spreadsheet just got corrupted last night

I was updating my fall season picks around 10 PM when the file froze. I tried to force close and reopen it, but it showed up as a blank document. I spent an hour trying recovery options from Google Drive's version history, but the last good save was from two weeks ago. Now I have to rebuild about 15 planned shows and their airing days from memory. Has anyone else had a spreadsheet disaster and found a better way to track shows?

Man, that's rough. I had a similar thing happen with a DVR recording schedule I spent hours setting up for the fall. @tylerlane, a notepad file sounds way less stressful than trusting software these days. You ever tried just writing the show names on a whiteboard near your TV?

Switched to a simple notepad file after my spreadsheet crashed too.
