My mailman saw me crying over an anime at the mailbox and now we review shows every Tuesday
I was standing at my mailbox in Boise last month with my phone in one hand and mail in the other, just absolutely wrecked by the ending of Anohana. Full on tears, wiping my face with a junk mail flyer. My mailman Dave pulls up and goes, "You good?" and I had to explain that Menma finally got her wish and everyone was crying at the tree. He just nods and says his daughter made him watch Fullmetal Alchemist and he ugly cried at the Nina episode. Now every Tuesday when he drops off the mail we stand there for like 10 minutes talking about whatever we're watching. He told me he's 14 episodes into Attack on Titan and keeps texting his daughter spoiler theories which she hates. Last Tuesday he asked me if I thought the ending of Evangelion made sense and I told him no one knows and that's the point. Anyone else got a random person in their life that anime just bonded you with?
