The way most people skip the OP's context in discussion threads drives me crazy

I spend like 2 hours on the My Hero Academia sub last night reading a thread where everyone was arguing about Deku's power scaling, but nobody even read the original post where the OP said they only watched the first 2 seasons. How are you gonna debate a take when you don't even know what the person saw? Has anyone else noticed people just jumping into arguments without checking the original post details first?
