Deck screws vs hidden fasteners, one hot July afternoon in Phoenix made me pick a side
I went with hidden fasteners for my 12x16 cedar deck cause I hated seeing screw heads, but after 3 days of fighting the clips in 108 degree heat, I wish I'd just used deck screws and kept my sanity.
