Hitting 100 cubic yards of gravel made me feel old

I was going through my project notes last night and realized I've moved exactly 100 cubic yards of gravel for backyard patios and paths since I started building things out back. That's like 10 dump truck loads by my math. It hit me because I remember hauling my first half yard in a borrowed truck from my neighbor back in 2017, and now I've got a whole system with wheelbarrows and plywood sheets to keep from killing my back. The number caught me off guard because I never thought of myself as someone who does that much hard labor. Has anyone else kept track of a weird milestone like that for their builds?

Hang on, 100 cubic yards is more like 13 or 14 dump truck loads, not 10. A standard tri-axle hauls about 10 to 12 yards, so you're looking at 9 to 10 truckloads if they're fully loaded, but most guys don't fill them to the brim. I learned the hard way when I ordered 15 yards for a project and got two trucks - one with 8 and one with 7. Either way, 100 yards is a ton of gravel, no doubt about it. My back hurts just thinking about it.

Learned something new here. Always figured a tri-axle was closer to 15 yards but that math makes way more sense with what I've actually gotten delivered.
