My scrap wood pile hit 500 pieces last month and I finally counted it
I started tossing cutoffs from every project into a pile behind my shed in Eugene about 4 years ago, and last month I finally counted 500 pieces. It mattered because I built my wife's whole herb planter box out of that pile for $0, which felt way better than the $80 I almost spent at Jerry's. Now I can't bring myself to throw out anything longer than a foot, and the pile keeps growing. Do you guys sort your scraps by size or just dump them all in one bin?
