Pressure treated vs cedar for raised beds - which one lasted longer for you?

I built two raised beds 4 years ago, one with pressure treated pine and one with cedar. The cedar one is starting to crack at the corners, but the pressure treated one still looks solid. Only issue is I had to wait 6 weeks for the chemicals to dry before planting in it. Which material held up better in your yard long term?

Totally agree, my cedar bed cracked after two years but the pressure treated one is still going strong lol.

What kind of soil do you have in those beds? In my experience, the cedar held up better here but I live in a dry climate so rot is less of an issue. My pressure treated bed actually started showing some rust stains from the fasteners after a couple years, which made me nervous about what else might be leaching out. I'd say go with cedar if you can afford it, but pressure treated is fine if you're patient with the drying time.
