Finally got my friends to sit through The Room without walking out after 20 minutes

I usually host bad movie nights at my place in Austin, but people always bail early when I pick something too weird or slow. Last Friday I bribed them with homemade pizza and set a rule that nobody could leave during the first hour. Has anyone else found a way to keep the group invested in a truly awful movie?

A hard deadline" is the only way. Pizza helps but the real trick is making people feel trapped in the best way. Once theyre past that first hour they usually stay for the whole trainwreck.
