Looked up the runtime for The Room and it blew my mind
I was flipping through IMDb last Tuesday after rewatching The Room for the third time this year and saw it clocks in at 99 minutes. That sounds normal until you realize about 40 of those minutes are just awkward silences and Tommy Wiseau staring at a spoon. It felt like a 3 hour movie every time I watched it. Anyone else get thrown off by a bad movie's actual runtime vs how long it feels?

My friend Dave put The Room on for a movie night once and checked his phone 20 minutes in, convinced he was an hour deep. By the time the credits hit at 99 minutes, he swore it had been two and a half hours and we all agreed. Honestly, that movie bends time in a way that makes no sense, it's like Tommy Wiseau's acting just slows everything down.
