Lost $60 on a knockoff 'so bad it's good' horror box set
Ordered this 8-disc horror collection online last week for $60 because the cover art looked gloriously terrible. Turns out half the discs were just the same movie with different titles and the other half were filmed from a projector in someone's basement. Anyone else get burned by those mystery box sets that promise 50 'cult classics' but deliver one sad zombie flick repeated?

Oh man, that brings back some painful memories. I got a "50 sci-fi classics" set once and it was basically the same guy in a rubber mask wandering through a warehouse for 45 minutes, repeated 12 times. The titles were all different but the plot was identical, like they just renamed the file and called it a day. The best part was when a disc straight up froze and skipped for twenty minutes in the middle of a laser fight, and I still watched it because I felt like I had to get my money's worth. I've learned my lesson though, if the cover shows a guy with three arms and a laser eye, it's either gold or absolute garbage, and there's no way to know until it's too late.
