My $7 thrift store VHS copy of The Room saved my movie night
I got tired of everyone picking the same five "so bad it's good" movies every week. You know, like Birdemic or Troll 2. So last month I dug through a thrift store in Portland and found a beat-up VHS of The Room for seven bucks. I popped it in expecting the usual disaster but the tracking was off and it glitched out halfway through. Honestly the random skipping and freeze frames made it way funnier than the actual movie. Has anyone else had a bad copy of a movie make it even better?

Wait, isn't that kind of like how crappy wi-fi makes a group video call way more entertaining because everyone's just frozen mid-sentence? Sometimes the technical failure becomes the whole show.

@davis.gavin you actually changed my mind. I used to hate glitches, but you're right, they're the best part.
