My buddy swore Troll 2 was the worst movie ever, then we watched Birdemic and he went quiet for 20 minutes
Last Friday my buddy Dave came over for bad movie night and kept bragging that nothing could top Troll 2 for sheer awful. So I pulled out Birdemic: Shock and Terror, which I'd grabbed on DVD for $3 at a flea market in Akron. We got maybe 12 minutes in before the first attack scene, where these obviously stuffed eagles just sort of hover in place on a obvious green screen. Dave didn't say a word for 20 minutes straight, just stared at the TV with his mouth open. Then came the coat hanger scene and he finally whispered 'what is happening' like his brain broke. We ended up rewatching the same 5 minute stretch three times because we couldn't believe the sound editing, the bird noises were just people going 'caw caw' over and over. Now he texts me random movie titles asking if they're 'Birdemic bad or just regular bad.' What's your go to film for absolutely wrecking someone who thinks they've seen the worst?
