Rant: Watching 'The Room' with a crowd vs alone is night and day
I finally got around to watching The Room last month after hearing about it for years. I tried it alone first on a random Tuesday night and I was just confused and bored honestly. Then my buddy dragged me to a midnight screening at this old theater in Portland last weekend and holy cow what a difference. The whole crowd was yelling stuff at the screen and throwing spoons during the football scene. It went from a slog to one of the funniest nights I've had in years just because of the people around me. Has anyone else had a bad movie totally flip for them when they watched it with a group?

Wait, are we really acting like The Room is a good movie now? It's still a trainwreck, just one you can laugh at with friends. The difference is just noise and alcohol, not the quality of the film.

@robert64 nailed it, it's just a fun bad movie to yell at.
