Warning: Lost $60 on a 'so bad it's good' movie pack that was just bad

I saw this collection online called 'Drive-In Double Features Volume 4' and thought hey, for $60 how bad could it be? Turns out real bad. The transfer quality looked like someone recorded a VHS tape with a phone camera. Two of the four movies were just the wrong films entirely like a spaghetti western labeled as a horror flick. The sound was off by a solid 2 seconds in every scene. I tried to get a refund but the seller ghosted me after my first email. Has anyone else fallen for one of those cheap bulk movie bundles and ended up with total trash?

Two of the four movies were just the wrong films entirely" is hilarious but also exactly the kind of thing that happens with these cheapo packs lol. I bought a 50 movie sci-fi collection once and half of them were just black and white B-movies with no sound for the first 10 minutes. Learned my lesson real quick with those bulk bundles.

There's a certain honesty to those cheapo packs that I appreciate, even if it's accidental. You pay rock bottom prices and you get rock bottom quality control, which is just how the world works in most areas. It's a good reminder that you usually get what you pay for, whether it's movies, tools, or anything else.
