Watching The Room with the commentary track actually made it better somehow

I threw it on for a laugh last Friday with three friends who had never seen it, and hearing Tommy Wiseau explain his own scenes just made the whole thing more confusing and funnier, so now I'm wondering if there are other so-bad movies where the director's commentary is secretly the best part?
