Client in Denver told me my fades were too high. Fixed my whole approach.

Guy sat down, looked at my work in the mirror, and said 'that fade starts way above my temple, looks off.' He was right. I lowered my guideline by about half an inch and now blend from the ear up instead. Anyone else had a customer call them out on something that actually improved your cuts?

Buddy of mine had a lady tell him his part lines were crooked. He got defensive at first but then actually checked with a mirror and a level. Now he uses a ruler every single time and his cuts are way cleaner.

Wait, a level? Like an actual carpenter's level? That's wild, I've never even thought to check a part line with one of those but honestly it makes sense. My old mentor would've laughed at that but now I'm kinda tempted to try it.
