Finally saw a real difference in my fades after switching clippers

I been using the same Wahl clipper for about 4 years. Last month I picked up a Gamma+ from a supplier. After 2 weeks I could already see my blends smoothing out way faster. The difference in how clean the back of the neck looks is night and day. Has anyone else noticed a big jump just from changing one tool?

...and here I am still using the same pair of clippers I bought at a pawn shop for $15, thinking a little oil and some cursing would get me the same results. So you're telling me it's not the years of practice and YouTube tutorials, it's literally just the tool costing more than my first car? I guess next you'll say I should stop using scissors I found in the junk drawer. Hard to argue with a cleaner neckline though, mine still looks like I had a fight with a lawn mower.

Dollar store tools make dollar store results every time. The clippers are fighting you more than the hair is. Sometimes you just gotta pay up to level up.
