Had a kid squirm right as I was lining up his neckline with my Andis T-Outliner
He jerked his head and I nicked a small line into his skin, so I stopped, apologized to him and his mom, and used a clean styptic pencil I keep in my kit. Anyone have a better method for calming a really fidgety 5-year-old client?

Ever try that trick with the cape? I saw a barber drape it over a kid's hands like a game to keep them still, and it actually worked for a bit. Might be worth a shot before you reach for the tools.
