Had a customer bring in a creaky bottom bracket I swore was loose, but the noise was actually the seatpost after I greased the threads.
I chased the sound for 45 minutes before a Park Tool AWS-10 torque wrench on the binder bolt proved me wrong. Anyone else get totally fooled by a noise traveling through the frame like that?
