Just flushed $60 on a cheap bottom bracket tool that stripped immediately

I grabbed a no-name BB tool from the discount bin to save time on a repair, and the splines gave out halfway through the install. Had to buy the proper Park Tool version anyway. Anyone have a go-to brand for these that actually holds up?

Saw a video last week where a mechanic said cheap tools are just expensive mistakes. He had a whole pile of rounded-off BB tools he called his "wall of shame." That Park Tool one you got is basically the standard for a reason, it's just solid metal. I've had my Pedro's wrench for years and it still bites hard, even on some really stuck cranksets. What kind of bike were you working on?
