Just found out Shimano changed their B-link spec 3 years ago and nobody told me

Was building up a new gravel bike last night and the derailleur wouldn't shift right. Took me an hour of messing with cable tension before I finally checked the Shimano tech docs online. Turns out the B-link for GRX 12-speed has a different angle than the 11-speed stuff I've been using. Had to order the right one. Has anyone else run into this?

Wait, is it really the B-link angle that changed? I thought the main difference was the B-screw thread pitch on the 12-speed stuff. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I had to swap out my adjusting screw too.

Ha, does it really matter that much for how it shifts? I feel like people overthink this stuff all the time lol.
