Vent: Threadless stem creak won't stop

I tightened all the bolts, but it still makes noise on bumps. What could be causing this?

But like, is the creak actually causing problems? Might just be annoying, not something that needs fixing right away.

Sometimes a creak is just noise, not a sign of something breaking. If it's not getting worse or causing damage, why rush to fix it? People tend to worry too much about small sounds without checking if there's real trouble. Wait and see if it changes before spending time and money on it. Fixing every little sound can be a waste if nothing is actually wrong.

Yeah, I read something similar in an old home repair book. It said most noises are just the house settling and to only worry if they get louder or change a lot.
