My book club's potluck based on our read was a total hit
We all cooked dishes mentioned in the novel for our meeting. The debate over which character would've eaten what got pretty heated, but in a good way lmao. Feels like a win for club vibes.

That is such an awesome idea for a meeting (seriously might steal it). We had a huge fight over a fancy cheese sandwich once, because one person insisted the main character would have hated mayo, which... got personal fast, lol. Sounds like you guys nailed the vibe, and @wren958 is right to ask about the big debate. Those little arguments are weirdly the best part, makes the whole story feel more real.

Wait, hard disagree on the little arguments being the best part. Those tiny fights over mayo or whatever can totally wreck the vibe for me. It stops being about the story and just turns into people being stubborn about their own weird headcanons. Feels like everyone just digs in and the actual fun of sharing the food idea gets lost, lol.
