Our book club met at the library in Bellingham and a fight about the ending changed how I read

We were discussing a mystery novel and two members got into a real argument about whether the killer's motive made sense. One person pulled out specific page numbers from chapter 12 to prove her point. Seeing how the exact text settled the debate made me start taking notes while I read. Now I always mark passages that seem important. Do you write in your books or use sticky notes for club meetings?

Grab a cheap paperback to mark up. I use different colored tabs for themes and character moments.
