Our club had to pick between 'The Road' and 'Station Eleven' for our apocalypse month
I argued for 'The Road' because of its raw look at survival, but half the group wanted 'Station Eleven' for its focus on art and hope. We went with 'Station Eleven' and the debate got heated when someone from Chicago said the traveling symphony felt unrealistic. Did your group ever split over picking a book theme?

Unrealistic? They're from Chicago, they should know.

The "they're from Chicago" part is a bit off. Being from a big city doesn't mean you automatically know everything about it. It's a common mix-up, but people's experiences in a place can be really different.
