PSA: That $45 'classic' book club pick was a total snoozefest and a waste of my evening
I paid full price for 'The Midnight Library' after my group hyped it up, and I got 60 pages in before I realized I'd rather scroll my phone for 3 hours - has anyone else dumped a book club selection halfway through because it just wasn't grabbing you?

Used to ride hard for finishing every book I started no matter what, figured it was a commitment thing. But last month I bailed on 'Project Hail Mary' at page 80 because the science talk just made my eyes glaze over. Felt weird at first but honestly freeing - life's too short to force yourself through something you hate when there's a million other books out there.

Science talk makes my brain do the same thing.
