Showerthought: I used to think having a 'moderator' for our book club debates was pointless, but after our 'The Goldfinch' meeting turned into a 45-minute shouting match about Boris, I get it now.

Feel your pain, I once nearly got kicked out of a cafe for arguing about the ending of Gone Girl.

That ending was a total win for Amy, she played everyone perfectly. Spencerb73, you have to admit she got the life she wanted in the end. The book makes it clear she won, and that's the whole point.
