Spent $150 on a 'premium' discussion guide for my book club and got nothing useful
I bought this fancy guide from some website that promised deep questions and author insights. It was basically 20 pages of summaries I could have gotten from Wikipedia for free. The questions were super generic, like 'what did you think of the main character?' No hidden meanings or debate starters at all. Has anyone found a source for actual good discussion materials that aren't just fluff?

Paid $80 for a "literary analysis pack" once. Same issue. Questions were things like "Did the setting feel real?" Could have asked my cat and gotten better insight.
Found some free PDFs from university reading groups that were way better. They actually dug into character motives and author choices instead of just checking if people read the book.

Eh it's just book club stuff, not that deep.
