Why does nobody talk about reading the last chapter out loud first at book club?
Our group in Tucson kept fighting over endings, so I tried something different for our pick this round: I read the final chapter out loud before we even started the book. It sounds backwards, but knowing where the story lands killed about 80% of the arguing, since nobody was saving up a big twist reveal to spring on the room. We still disagreed about the middle, which is honestly the fun part. Has any other group tried flipping the order like this, or does it ruin the surprise for everyone?
