Hold up... "put bread in a toaster to make it warm"? That's the part that got me. That's not even a hack, that's just... using the machine for its only job. If someone is selling that as secret knowledge, we have bigger problems.

Okay but what if you've only ever had a microwave? I used to nuke my bread until it got that weird chewy feel. Putting it in a toaster the first time was a total game changer, actual crispy warmth. Some of us just start in the wrong place.
