I just learned my old sleeping bag is rated for way colder temps than I thought
I was cleaning out my gear closet and finally looked up the model number of my North Face Cat's Meow bag from 2015. The tag says it's a 20-degree bag, but the archived spec sheet online lists the EN comfort rating at 32 degrees. I've been freezing my butt off for years thinking I was pushing its limits at 25 degrees. Has anyone else had a bag that was marketed way more aggressively than its actual rating?

That 32 degree comfort rating makes sense now. It's like how "one size fits most" really means "fits almost no one well." Everything is stretched and exaggerated these days.
