Just picked a Jetboil over a Soto for my week in Shenandoah
I spent like two hours comparing the Jetboil Flash and the Soto WindMaster before my trip to Shenandoah last month. Ended up going with the Jetboil because I wanted something that boils water super fast for my morning coffee. Has anyone else switched from one to the other and noticed a big difference in real-world use?

Rivera.simon, my Jetboil sounded like a jet engine on the Blue Ridge ridgeline.

Did you get a chance to try it out in some windy conditions yet? I took my Jetboil Flash to Shenandoah last fall and honestly the wind resistance was way better than I expected for how small it is. It boils water crazy fast even with a breeze, which is what sold me on it too for my morning coffee and oatmeal routine. The only thing that bugged me was how loud it gets, but that's a small trade off for not waiting forever.

Wind is the one thing gear companies love to lie about. Loud but reliable beats quiet and useless every time though.
