Spent $180 on a fancy camp stove and it melted my pot handle
I picked up this lightweight titanium stove last month for a trip up near Lake Tahoe. The stove itself was fine, but I didn't realize the pot support arms were way too short for my old aluminum pot. After about 10 minutes on high, the handle softened and bent right into the flame. I mean, maybe it's on me for not checking the fit first, but the box said it works with any 1L pot. Has anyone else had this issue with ultralight stoves tipping or sagging under a heavier pan? I'm thinking of just going back to my old $25 burner instead of risking another expensive trip.

Ah man, I gotta call you out on this one. You bought the lightest stove possible and then strapped a big heavy pot on it, of course it's gonna wobble. That's like blaming a sports car for not hauling lumber. The box saying "works with any 1L pot" doesn't mean it's built for your rusty boat anchor.
