Hit 500 subscribers on my conspiracy channel... small but it feels real
I started this YouTube channel a year ago just ranting about the JFK files and what they hid. 500 people actually clicked subscribe and I cant believe it. My video about the Denver airport murals got the most traction, like 200 of those subs came from that. I figured I'd be stuck at 50 forever... has anyone else seen weird growth from a single video?

That single video pulling most of your subs is pretty common. People get curious about something specific like the Denver airport murals and it acts as a gateway to your whole channel. The bigger picture here is how one small curiosity can open up a whole new world for someone looking for answers, which is true of anything in life.

You ever look at your analytics and see one video just crushing everything else? It happened to me with a video about faulty furnace capacitors - totally random, not my best work, but it blew up because everyone's furnace was breaking down in winter. I made sure to pin a comment with a link to my more detailed maintenance guide so those one-off viewers could find something else to stick around for. That cross-link strategy turned a viral fluke into a steady 5% bump in my regular subs over the next few months.

Yep that capacitor video is classic. I had a similar thing with a video on fixing a squeaky door hinge. Totally random, not my best work, but it blew up because everyone's got a squeaky door. I just added a card in the video linking to my home maintenance playlist and it pulled in a bunch of new subs.
