I used to think the moon landing footage was obviously fake because of the flag waving.

Then I watched a breakdown from a former NASA engineer in Houston who explained the lack of air resistance and the way the flagpole was shaken. Anyone know other solid debunks for that specific flag argument?

You mentioned the flagpole being shaken. People forget the flag itself was a specific design. It had a horizontal rod along the top to keep it spread out, like a curtain. When they planted it and twisted it into the ground, that whole rod assembly wobbled. The fabric had nowhere to go, so it just kept shaking for a bit. No wind needed, just simple physics from poking a stiff pole into dirt.

That curtain rod detail makes total sense. It reminds me of when my nephew set up his telescope for the first time last summer. He kept pointing at the moon saying the shadows looked wrong, but it was just the angle of the craters playing tricks. He got so into it he started reading all about the Apollo missions. What got you interested in looking into the moon landing stuff?
