Remember when you used to buy aluminum foil for tinfoil hat jokes at the hardware store for 50 cents a roll?
Now I see the same roll priced at $4.99 at the grocery store and it makes me wonder if inflation is just a cover for something bigger, has anyone else noticed the price jump on basic stuff since like 2020?

My buddy saw those same rolls for $6 at a corner shop last week.

Blame the supply chain but it's just greed honestly lol.

Just greed" feels a bit simple. I work in logistics and the supply chain stuff is actually really messy right now. Some companies definitely take advantage, but not everyone is just gouging for the fun of it.
