That friend who told me 5G towers were cooking birds was partially right
Honestly, my buddy Mike kept going on about 5G radiation killing birds near his apartment in Arlington. I laughed it off as typical conspiracy stuff until I walked past a tower near my job and saw like 8 dead sparrows on the ground. Turns out a study from 2020 showed certain frequencies can mess with bird navigation, not cook them directly. Has anyone else stumbled on actual evidence that made you rethink a fringe claim?

Birds cook" was a joke... but the real issue is magnetic field confusion probably messes with their migration maps.

Honestly I gotta call this one out. Birds have been migrating just fine for millions of years without us worrying about magnetic fields going haywire. Like yeah the magnetic poles shift a little over time but it's not like they wake up one morning and suddenly forget which way is south. Ngl I bet they rely way more on sun position and landmarks than some invisible field anyway. Seen plenty of pigeons navigate city streets just fine with all the power lines and phone towers buzzing around.
