The debunk video that made me question my own sources
Last week I watched a 22 minute breakdown of a moon landing hoax video I'd been sharing since 2019, and by minute 8 I felt sick. The guy didn't even argue, he just played the original clip slowed down and pointed at the timestamp watermark that proves the footage was sped up on purpose. I went back and checked my own saved links and two of them came from the same sketchy site with no author listed anywhere. Now I'm sitting here wondering how many other things I passed along without ever checking who made the original. What's your rule for trusting a source, do you check the author or just the claim?
