Unpopular opinion: I stopped arguing with flat earthers and started asking them one simple question instead
I used to get into long fights in comment sections about the moon landing until a buddy in Cleveland showed me a trick last November where you just ask someone to describe what proof would change their mind. Nine times out of ten they can't answer it, and the whole debate kind of falls apart right there without anyone yelling. Has anyone else tried this approach on a conspiracy topic, and did it actually go anywhere or just make things worse?
