Weird thing happened with my car's oil change light last Tuesday

I was sitting in the drive-thru at Starbucks in Tampa when the light blinked off, then back on, and I just realized it's been going on for months with no actual oil issue. Has anyone else had a sensor lie to them like that for no reason?

yeah that happened to me once, drove me crazy for weeks before I figured it out.

Walked straight into that trap myself. Spent a whole weekend tearing apart my setup only to find out it was just a loose cable the whole time. Had a whole plan to burn it all down and start over. Felt like an idiot when I finally just wiggled the cord and everything worked. Sometimes the simplest fix is the one you ignore the longest.
