Dropped $60 on a prewired pedal kit and the switch was junk
If I'd just bought the bare board and sourced my own 3PDT from the local shop I'd have saved 30 bucks and a Tuesday night reflowing. Anyone got a go-to switch that doesn't go scratchy after a few stomps?
That Tuesday night reflow hits different when you know the switch cost more than the whole board should have. Once you go bare board you never go back, because now you're picking the switch and the jack and the wire gauge yourself instead of paying someone to make that call for you. Same deal with the enclosure, buy plain and drill it yourself, and suddenly the kit markup looks like straight up robbery.
